How to convert HEIC to PNG

Make sure PNG is selected next to the title; set the quality and size if needed.

HEIC is the format iPhone uses for photos by default. Files are half the size of JPG, but Windows, Android, government portals and many websites can't open them.

PNG is a lossless format with transparency: for screenshots, diagrams and logos.

iPhone photos look just like on the phone

iPhone shoots in the wide Display P3 color space. During conversion, colors are converted to standard sRGB, so photos don't look washed out on Windows and Android. Rotation is applied automatically.

How to turn off HEIC on iPhone

Settings → Camera → Formats → “Most Compatible”. New shots will be saved as JPG. Photos you've already taken won't change — you can convert them here.

Is it safe?

Files are processed on a server in Russia and are not stored: they are deleted from memory right after conversion. Metadata — location, phone model, capture date — is removed by default.
