    Files are not stored. JPG, PNG and WebP are converted right in the browser whenever possible — the file never leaves your device. Everything else is processed on a server in Russia: in memory, without the original file name, and deleted right after the response.

    How to convert WebP to HEIC

    1. Choose files or drag them into the window — several at once is fine.
    2. Make sure HEIC is selected next to the title; set the quality and size if needed.
    3. Click “Convert” and download the result. Several files come as one ZIP archive.

    WebP is Google's format for websites: lighter than JPG and PNG, but older programs and editors don't support it.

    HEIC is the format iPhone uses for photos by default. Files are half the size of JPG, but Windows, Android, government portals and many websites can't open them.

    Why convert to HEIC

    At the same quality, HEIC is about half the size of JPG. iPhone, iPad and Mac open it without extra software; Windows 10 and 11 need the HEIF and HEVC extensions from the Microsoft Store. Handy for saving space in the cloud and on your phone.

    HEIC does not keep metadata: rotation is already applied and colors are converted to sRGB.

    Which quality to choose

    85 is optimal for most tasks. 95–100 is for printing and further editing. 60–75 is for messengers and websites with upload size limits.

    Is it safe?

    Files are processed on a server in Russia and are not stored: they are deleted from memory right after conversion. Metadata — location, phone model, capture date — is removed by default.
